Qualcomm opens augmented reality SDK to Apple’s iOS

According Wall Street Journal blogger Ina Fried, said that Company is originally developed augmented reality SDK for Android, This is great news for user. The main objective encouraging developers to make processor intensive apps.



Qualcomm is specifically created  its free augmented reality SDK originally for Android. and we know that Android was the perfect platform to start with since the developer community is so open and quickly growing. According to Qualcomm’s Jay Wright said at the ARE 2011 they arrange conference in this earlier week,  Android was a logical place to start because of “developer momentum and Snapdragon penetration.” But in today time is perfect they support additional operating systems, starting with Apple’s mobile operating system.



There lot of Android smart phone use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors, augmented reality apps already exist on Apple's iOS platform, This SDK is available in  July. we can also see the some demos at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

The Qualcomm has also sponsored development challenges, paying winning entries between $50,000 and $125,000 last year. The first place prize was awarded to an augmented reality game named Paparazzi by Lithuanian developer Pixel Punch.

In lat week co-founder of Pixel Punch, released his augmented reality game Paparazzi to the Android Market. He used  Qualcomm tool to create app.  iOS users "appreciate good content,” Liekis said. “On Android, consumers are different. They do not want to pay.”

This is excitement news for all you can see what kind of augmented reality apps start popping up on iOS after July. it easier to create you can easily made.
